I caught wind of this browsing CU Hype earlier this morning. A lot of CUs have information on their websites about phishing scams and how members can avoid them, but the Federal Trade Commission just released three videos to illustrate the concept of phishing to the public.

The videos from OnGuard Online have three goals to teach consumers:

  • How to guard against Internet fraud
  • How to secure your computer
  • How to protect your personal information

The FTC hasn’t made the videos available for CUs to post directly on their site, but you can use the graphic above on your site (created by Tony Mannor) and link it to the following URL:
