Accident Turned Memorable Service Experience

I was in a car accident a couple of weeks ago.  Except for the passenger side door of my truck, nothing (and no one) was hurt.

After working through the red tape of insurance companies, I’ve had the most amazing customer experience of my life!

I showed up this morning at the collision center when my truck was going to be repaired.  The body shop promised that I would have a rental car waiting for me upon my arrival.  Little did I expect that the rental car (actually a truck like I drive) would be running and waiting for me when I arrived.

I was greeted, by name, as I exited my truck with completed paperwork just waiting for a signature.  In less than 45 seconds, I was driving out of the parking lot.  Best of all, I received a call later in the day telling me the day and hour that my truck would be ready.

Such memorable service that I told at least 5 people in my office and now you about it.  As Scott Ginsburg says, “if people aren’t retelling your story, it doesn’t exist”.

What have you done to make your members’ experiences a story that they want to retell?
